General charges and payments:
All our prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and are exclusive of VAT, Value Added Tax. All Hires are calculated as starting and finishing at (Central London) W1, except those hires to and from various airports or those hires that are subject to a fixed charge. All hires involving a drop off and subsequent pick up will be priced as one continuous hire unless the interval between journeys is 3 or more hours stated at the time the booking is made. Driver’s overnight subsistence allowance will be made by arrangement. Gratuities are at the client’s discretion. A surcharge of 25% will be made for services provided when a journey starts or finishes during a UK bank holiday. A 100% surcharge is applicable for journeys on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and from 18.00 New Years Eve until 10.00 New Years day, thereafter the 25% standard charge will apply. We accept all major credit and debit cards, 5% of handling fee is applicable for all credit and debit card transactions.
We allow a free waiting time of 30 minutes for airport pick-up, this is calculated from the time your flight has landed. Any excess time over the above stated allowances will be charged at standard hourly rates and additional parking charges.
Our standard waiting times charge is £25 per hour, rounded by the nearest 15 minutes.
Cancellation and refund policy:
If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire only 50% of all price paid will be refundable. If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire all price paid will be non-refundable. If the passenger does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all price paid will be non-refundable.
If you cannot locate your driver and you seek an alternative method of transport without first contacting Airport Cars LTD, to try and resolve the situation all price paid will be non-refundable.
Conditions of hire:
When the client desires to travel to a particular place the driver will travel by the route which is in his opinion the most suitable at the time, whether the route is shortest or not. The company accepts no responsibility for delays however caused. A reasonable amount of luggage is allowed, but luggage which, in the opinion of the driver amounts to excessive weight may not be carried.
Airport Cars LTD accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to luggage or any other item; however such loss or damage may be caused. Only reasonable amount of hand luggage may, with the driver’s approval be carried in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
Airport Cars LTD accepts no responsibility for any accidental damage caused by clients to the interior or exterior of the vehicle. The hirer must not request or act in any way which contravenes or causes to contravene any part of legislation which applies to the use of vehicles as applied under the road traffic act.
In the event of a breakdown, Airport Cars LTD reserves the right to provide a different vehicle to the one booked. If the vehicle is of lesser standard, an adjustment to the hire cost will be made to compensate this. The carriage of animal is by strict request in advance, Airport Cars LTD reserves the right of refusal.
Monthly credit facilities are available to account holders on request subject to status. All invoices are to be paid 5 days from the date of invoice. This is subject to agreement when acquiring an account.
Airport Cars LTD reserves the right to cancel the account at any time and for any reason.
